As an ambitious player, I have learned a few valuable lessons while playing over the years. It does not matter if you are partial to wagering at the ‘bricks and mortar’ type or the many online casinos. The following are my golden rules of gaming, most of which can be thought of as common sense, but if followed they will help you go a long distance to leaving with a grin on your face.
Rule 1: Go to a casino with a determined sum that you are ready and can afford to risk – How much would you pay for a night out on diner, cocktails, entrance fees and tips? This is a perfect sum to use.
Rule 2: Do not carry your credit card out with you – or any other means of withdrawing cash out. Don’t concern yourself about cash for the taxi if you spend it all; most taxi drivers, in particular the cabs booked at casinos, will take you home and are more than happy to wait for the moola when you get back.
Rule 3: Stick to an upper cap. I constantly see what I would love to purchase if I earn. The last time I was able to go, I concluded I’d quite like to purchase a new Media Player which cost around $400, so that was my predetermined limit. As soon as I achieved that figure, I quit. Just walk away. Even if Mystic Megan herself gives you the next number for the roulette wheel, ignore her and leave. Leave comfortable in the understanding that you will be heading into the mall and acquiring a nice brand-new toy!
Rule 4: Have a good time. When you’re "enthusiastic" you will certainly win. It is a reality. I don’t know why, but it just is. Once it feels like a job, or you are simply betting to acquire $$$$ you have lost, you usually will be deprived of more. When you’re profiting, feeling a great experience with your friends, or your significant other, you usually will profit even more.
